The second regiment of the Brabant Horse was detached from the Colonial Division in June 1900 and were attached to General Clements’ Column. The Queenstown Rifles and Driscoll’s Scouts were lent to General Rundle about same time. Battle of Stormberg Dec 10th 1899 28 killed, 122 wounded, 620 missing. Kaff[rarian] Rifles held in reserve at Bushman’s Hoek. Only 50 of Kaffrarian M[ounted]. I[nfantry]. being engaged.
